羽毛球场为一长方形场地，长度为13.40米，双打场地宽为6.10米，单打场地宽为5.18米。球场上各条线宽均为4厘米，丈量时要从线的外沿算起。球场界限用白色、黄色或其它易于识别的颜色画出。按国际比赛规定，整个球场上空空间为9米，在这个高度以内，不得有任何横梁或其它障碍物，球场四周2米以内不得有任何障碍物。任何并列的两个球场之间，少应有2米的距离。球场四周的墙壁为深色，不能有风。

羽毛球场一般使用的面层材料有硅PU塑胶羽毛球场、PVC塑胶地板，木地板羽毛球场等。

目前市场上还有一种新的地板材料DIY拼装地板（悬浮式拼装地板），相对而言价格很便宜是施工方式就是直接在水泥基础上铺设PVC塑胶地板，PVC塑胶地板是卷材，铺设方便，铺好后即可直接使用；硅PU塑胶地板相对造价要高于PVC塑胶地板； 而价格贵的是木地板，但是目前对运动地板要求高的训练单位一般会采用在木地板上再铺设一层PVC塑胶地板，运动效果更佳，场地高档美观。

二 对场地基层要求

1.施工的地面必须保持清洁，持久干燥，且没有裂缝。

2.混凝土地面含水率不得超过2.5％，石膏地面含水率不得超过0.5％。

3.地板表面2m直尺范围内误差不大于3mm。

此外，木地板、复合木地板、瓷砖、大理石和水磨石地板平整度达到要求均可铺装。

三 铺装方法

在地板铺设之前，地面必须清扫干净，地板提前展开平铺在地面24小时以上，且现场温度不应低于15度。地板还原后，切割时两端应多留5厘米。

1.移动式铺装：地板与地板之间用厂家配套的专用单面连接带粘接成一体，地板与地面不粘接，以方便将来移动。

2.局部固定式铺装方法：在地面上以地板的边缘线为基准向内刷10cm的胶粘接，或用厂家配套的专用双面连接带粘接。

3.全胶粘接铺装方法:塑胶地板与地面全部用胶水粘接。（篮、 网球场地采用全胶粘接，否则球与地面接触时会影响球的反弹）

焊接-热焊法

地板焊接前先用手工或者机器在地板接缝处开槽，开槽处必须清理干净，热焊时的温度不低于500度，焊接可采用自动设备或人工操作。正式焊接前，先用一小段焊线，来测试一下焊接时适当的温度，焊缝处冷却后分两步去除多余的焊线，先用月牙铲铲掉焊线突起部分的一半，待焊线充分冷却后，铲去余下部分。
